The seeds of White Association for Mental Health and Recovery were planted from a deep desire to bring healing, awareness, and hope to individuals and families struggling with emotional pain, mental distress, and the challenges of modern life.

Our founder, Yohanna Hany, a mental health counselor and international specialist in addictive behaviors, witnessed firsthand how countless people suffer in silence — often without access to the care, understanding, or community they need. Out of this awareness grew a calling: to create a space where psychological healing is accessible, compassionate, and rooted in both scientific understanding and human connection.

In 2025, White Association for Mental Health and Recovery became an officially recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to improving mental health and emotional wellbeing across communities worldwide.

White symbolizes clarity, peace, and renewal — the state of mind we all strive for. Our mission is to empower individuals to recover, grow, and live with resilience by connecting them to effective recovery programs, professional counseling, and supportive communities.

At White Association, we believe that healing is not just the absence of pain, but the presence of purpose, wholeness, and light. Together, we are building a world where mental health is not a privilege, but a right for everyone.
